Old Bastard’s Square

Old Bastard’s Square
Entered By: Mike McClintock
This is essentially a Vieux Carré made with China-China and Byrrh. It’s just different enough that it should be it’s own drink. Perfect when served over rocks in a footed tumbler. The original name for this was intended to be “a bastard vieux carre” but because Mike’s French is rusty he accidentally translated it to “Old Bastard’s Square” and that seemed like a better fit and sounded more fun in English than in French.
